Dr Julius Parker became Chief Executive in January 2008, having joined Surrey & Sussex LMCs as a Medical Director in August 2005. Dr Pat Phillips joined the Secretariat as a part-time Medical Director in August 2005. From January 2008, she will have responsibility for Surrey and East Sussex LMC areas. Dr Richard Brown joined the Secretariat as part-time Medical Director in January 2008, with responsibility for Croydon and West Sussex LMC areas. Anne Benney is the Deputy Chief Executive, and also Director of Finance and IT. She joined the Secretariat in January 1997. Tracey Amatt joined us as LMC/PCT Liaison Manager on 20th January 2004. Christine Lowe is a full-time Executive Assistant. She joined us in August 2001. Elizabeth Perry joined the team on 3rd October 2005 as a full time Executive Assistant. Marian Morrison joined us on 31st May 2007 as a full time Executive Assistant Dr James Gillgrass retired from the Secretariat in December 2007 and has returned to work in general practice. He remains the GPC Representative for Croydon and Surrey.
